Thesis 1 is designed to guide postgraduate research students in developing a complete and defensible research proposal. The course focuses on refining a research topic, formulating a clear research problem, objectives, and research questions, and conducting a critical review of relevant literature. Students will also be guided in selecting and justifying appropriate research methodologies and research designs. The primary goal of this course is the successful completion of a research proposal that meets the academic requirements for proposal defence.
